 | | | | | | Can I Use Wikipedia for Research? | | Yes, and no Wikipedia is best used as a starting point for brainstorming more questions you’d like to answer about your topic. It should not be used as the only electronic resource in your research. If you use Wikipedia as part of your final project, you must include at least two other electronic resources in your research. For example: Let’s say you are required to use one book, one magazine and one electronic resource for your research project. If you use Wikipedia for your project, then you must add at least two additional resources to confirm your Wikipedia information, for a total of three electronic resources. This would be in addition to the book and magazine resource.
