 | | | | | How are the test scores? Saint Anthony Park’s test scores are consistently among the highest in the district and in the state. Last year, 96 percent of fifth-graders proved proficient on the MCA-II Science test, which made them the top-performing students in the state of Minnesota.
We know that choosing a school for your child will be based on more than successful test scores, but isn’t it nice to know that your child will be learning with and challenged by fellow students who really enjoy school and are having great success.

About the Tests • In 2007-2008 Minnesota used the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment-II (MCA-II) to test students in reading in grades 3 through 8 and 10, in math in grades 3 through 8 and 11, and in science in grades 5 and 8 and once in high school. • The MCA-II is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Minnesota. • The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
