| Language Arts |  | Language Arts contain a number of exciting opportunities for our fifth
grade learners: Writer's Workshop, Reader's Workshop, Daily Oral
Language, Daily Analogies, Wordmasters, independent reading, guided
reading, daily read aloud, learning centers, spelling activities, and a
number of presenters, authors, and individual enrichment projects.
In addition, we select a story or book to emphasize a weekly theme and a
monthly genre. We use our own school library and the St. Anthony Park
Public Library to enrich our reading opportunities. We incorporate reading and writing logs into our daily activities. We provide different levels of literature and a variety of language arts experiences to challenge and enrich our learners.
Our readers and writers are among the best in the district.
