Class Mascot Project
Class Mascot Host Guidelines
-Each 3rd grader will have an opportunity to take our class wolf home for one week (Friday – Thursday) for a visit.
-The Mascot must be returned to school on Thursday morning with a written chronicle of his or her adventures with you and your family.
-Your Chronicle Entry must be written from the point of view of our wolf, his or her experience with you and your family
-You may include pictures, drawings and other artifacts with your writing to tell about the wolf’s adventures on the visit with you.
-You should include descriptions of the people, places, animals, experiences etc. Be creative, but also make sure to share some real experiences our wolf mascot might encounter with you as well!
-Each entry will become a part of our classroom Chronicles book and will stay at school.
-Before a student may take our class wolf mascot home, you and your parent or an adult family member must consent to protect and care for our mascot so he or she will safely return to our classroom unharmed by anything or anyone!
Thank you on behalf of our wolf mascot and
Ms. Weisman’s 3rd Grade Classroom!
Sincerely,
Ms. Weisman

I have a special request for a week(s) that would be good for our family to have the wolf. We realize we may not get these dates, but we are hopeful to have her then if they are available.
