Dear St. Anthony Park Elementary School Community,
I am writing to let you know that Principal Karen Duke has informed us that she has decided to retire from Saint Paul Public Schools after the 2024-25 school year. Principal Duke will remain at St. Anthony Park Elementary School throughout the remainder of this school year.
We are grateful for her service to Saint Paul Public Schools for more than 25 years, including the last eight as SAP Principal. We will miss Principal Duke at Saint Anthony Park Elementary School, and SPPS will find an excellent leader for this community.
As we move forward in selecting the next principal of St. Anthony Park Elementary School, we want to make sure you are informed and involved. The district will soon post the full-time principal position. Administration will help us select two parents and two staff members to be a part of the interview process. The site will also submit two specific questions to be asked of all candidates.
